start with the table
Mario Bellini's Il Colonnato sets its top on four or five column legs and comes round, square or rectangular in teak, marble or Minera stone; the square version seats eight. Patricia Urquiola's Insula tables carry a ceramic top in a glaze called Glaze Agate. Bitta has an extending table in teak and aluminum and another in marble.
For a lighter table, Ringer, drawn for cafe dining, and Village are aluminum, round or square. Riva and Net offer teak tops, and Net also comes in stone.
then the chairs
Passage is the most flexible chair in the catalog: one aluminum frame with a seat in rope, rattan, woven fabric, textilene, plywood or padding. Band comes in all-aluminum or all-teak. Bitta and Net chairs are woven rope over aluminum, and Arc wraps a braided back around a constant radius.
Mixing is common. A Passage chair at an Il Colonnato table, or Band teak chairs at a Riva table, is an ordinary request. Tell us the combination and we price it as one set.
