kettalringer
Kettal Ringer is a cafe dining set reduced to three pieces: an aluminum chair with armrests, a round table and a square table. Michael Anastassiades designed it in 2021 as his first project with Kettal. For anyone comparing metal patio furniture for a bistro corner or a restaurant terrace, it offers a sturdy frame that is still easy to lift and rearrange.

named after horseshoes
The name comes from the old lawn game of horseshoes, where a ringer is a throw that lands around the stake. On the chair, the armrest sits on top of the legs in much the same way, a curved piece dropped over an upright. That single gesture defines the design, and everything else is kept quiet so it stays easy to read.
Anastassiades set out to make cafe furniture as simple as it could be. He drew on Kettal's experience in aluminum fabrication to get a robust chair and tables that are still light enough to move. That balance matters in a restaurant, where tables get pushed together for groups, and at home, where a dining corner may be cleared for a party.
Aluminum is the only material in the family. It does not rust, handles rain and salt air, and needs little more than a wipe to stay clean. With no cushions to bring in, the Ringer set can stay out through the season, and each piece is light enough to carry under a roof or into a garage before a storm rolls in.
The round table suits a tight balcony or a corner where people sit close, and the square table lines up in rows on a larger terrace. The chair pairs with either one. Within Kettal outdoor furniture for dining, Ringer is one of the most direct answers to the need for a durable cafe chair, and its short list of parts keeps planning simple.
