planks, the traditional way

Plank construction is one of the oldest ways to make an outdoor seat. Boards form the seat and the back, a method with a long history in garden and deck chairs. Morrison did not try to reinvent that tradition. He worked on the proportions for comfort and let the timber do the rest, which gives the pieces a familiar look from their first day on the terrace.
